Self-employed work, paid weekly.

We take on self-employed owner-drivers, not employees. That means you invoice us, you handle your own tax and National Insurance, and you work on a services agreement that sets out the rate, the route and the standard before you start.

It also means we are straight about what it is. This is subcontract work with a written agreement behind it, not a job with holiday pay. If you want employment, this is not it, and we would rather say so now than three weeks in.

What you need

• Full UK or exchangeable driving licence, and a DVLA check code
• Right to work in the UK, evidenced
• Registered as self-employed with HMRC, with a UTR
• Your own van, or one hired from us at £250 a week
• Goods in transit and public liability cover, or ours by arrangement

What the work looks like

• Multidrop parcel rounds, typically a fixed area, six days available
• Dedicated and bulk runs, priced per job
• Early starts. Most rounds load between 6am and 8am
• Scanning, delivery windows and failed-delivery procedure to network standard
• Paid weekly against your invoice

No van?

Plenty of drivers start with us on a hired van and buy their own later. The two agreements are separate and you sign both: a hire agreement for the vehicle and a services agreement for the work.
