How long does a move take?
A one-bed flat with lift access is usually three to four hours door to door. Two-bed with stairs is closer to a full day. When you tell us the floor, the lift and the parking, the estimate you get is the one you pay against.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Reschedule free up to 24 hours before the slot. Inside 24 hours we ask for half the job value, because the van and the driver are committed to your day by then and cannot be resold that late.
What is included in the packing service?
Boxes, tape, bubble wrap and blankets, plus wrapping and labelling of the items you nominate. Furniture is blanket-wrapped as standard on every removal, packed or not.
Do you provide insurance?
Yes. Goods in transit and public liability cover are in place, and we will send the certificate and the sums insured with your quote if you ask. We do not carry cash, jewellery or documents.
What can you not take?
Hazardous goods, fuel, gas bottles, and anybody else’s waste. Waste removal needs an Environment Agency licence, and we will say plainly when a job needs one rather than taking it and tipping it.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer or card on completion for households. Business accounts are invoiced on agreed terms.
